Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Muhammad bin Abdur Rahman Ibn Yazid’s father narrates that I came from Arafat to Mina with Hazrat Abdullah. He threw seven pebbles at the Shaytan and recited Takbeer with each pebble, and then descended into the valley. When he finished the Rami, he recited this supplication: “O Allah, make this Hajj an accepted Hajj and forgive sins through it.” Then he said that I saw those upon whom Surah Al-Baqarah was revealed (Hazrat Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)) doing it in the same way.

Hazrat Al-Haytham bin Hanish says that I heard Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) recite this supplication when he performed the Rami (stoning of the pillars): "O Allah, make this Hajj an accepted Hajj and forgive the sins through it."

Ibrahim says that there is no specific supplication for the time of staying near the Jamarat; you may supplicate with whatever prayer you wish.

Hasan says that supplicate at every Jamrah, but there is no specific supplication for it.

Hazrat Mughira says that I asked Ibrahim: When I perform the stoning at Jamrah, which supplication should I recite? He replied: Recite this supplication: "O Allah, make this Hajj an accepted Hajj and forgive sins through it." I asked, should I recite this supplication with every pebble? He replied: Yes, if you wish.

Hazrat Ibn Jurayj says that I asked Hazrat Ata whether the supplication made while stoning the Jamarat is specific and cannot be added to it. He replied, "No, it is not so, except for the statement of Hazrat Jabir."
