Hadith 14454
١٤٤٥٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن نمير عن عبد الملك بن أبي سليمان عن سعيد بن جبير أنه كان يكره أن يؤخذ من طيب الكعبة شيء يستشفى به، وكان إذا رأى الخادم يأخذ (منه) (١) (قفدها) (٢) (قفدة) (٣) لا يألو أن (يوجعها) (٤).
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair disliked that the fragrance of the Kaaba be taken for the purpose of healing, and when he saw his maidservant doing so, he would slap her on the nape of her neck and would not care if it caused her pain. Ata states that if any of us wanted to obtain healing, he would bring fragrance from his own possession and apply it to the Black Stone, and then apply it to himself from there.
Hadith 14455
١٤٤٥٥ - قال عطاء: كان (أحدنا) (١) إذا أراد أن يستشفي به جاء بطيب من عنده يمسح به الحجر ثم أخذه.
14455 - Ata' said: When one of us wanted to seek healing with it, he would bring perfume from his home, wipe it on the stone, and then take it.
Hadith 14456
١٤٤٥٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير عن ليث عن عطاء قال: (١) لا (تحت) (٢) (الخلوق) (٣) من البيت إلا أن يوهب لك.
Hazrat Ata says that saffron fragrance will not be removed or kept away from the House of Allah except that it is given as a gift.
