متن قال: المزدلفة كلها موقف إلا بطن محسر
Those who say all of Muzdalifah is a place of standing except the valley of Muhassir
Hadith 14416
١٤٤١٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن محمد بن المنكدر سمع سعيد بن عبد الرحمن بن يربوع (يخبر) (١) عن (جبير) (٢) بن الحويرث (سمع) (٣) أبا بكر وهو واقف على (قزح) (٤) وهو يقول: يا أيها الناس أصبحوا أصبحوا، ثم دفع فكأني أنظر إلى فخذه قد انكشف مما يحرش بعيره بمحجنه (٥).
The narrator says that I heard Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq standing at the place of Qazah and saying, "O people! Move quickly." Then he departed, and it is as if I am seeing his thigh, which had become visible due to the movement of striking the camel with a stick.
Hadith 14417
١٤٤١٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن هشام عن أبيه عن ابن الزبير قال: المزدلفة كلها موقف إلا بطن محسر (١).
Hazrat Ibn Zubair states that the whole of Muzdalifah is a place of stay except for Batn Muhassir.
Hadith 14418
١٤٤١٨ - [حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن هشام عن نافع عن ابن عمر قال: جمع كلها موقف إلا بطن محسر] (١) (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) states that all of Muzdalifah, except for Batn Muhassir, is a place for staying (Muqif).
Hadith 14419
١٤٤١٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن ابن (جريج) (١) عن نافع قال: قلت له: أين كان ابن عمر يقف من جمع؟ قال: كان لا ينتهي يتخلص حتى يقف على قزح (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Jurayj says that I asked Hazrat Nafi': At which place did Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) stay in Muzdalifah? He replied that he did not separate himself from others until he stayed at the Qazah hill.
Hadith 14420
١٤٤٢٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن ابن (جريج) (١) قال: سألت عطاء أين منى؟ فقال: ما بين العقبة إلى محسر، فما (أحب) (٢) أن ينزل (أحد) (٣) إلا فيما بين العقبة إلى محسر.
Hazrat Ibn Jurayj states that I asked Hazrat Ata where Mina is. He replied: From the valley up to the place of Muhassir is Mina, so I do not like that anyone should stay anywhere other than this place.
Hadith 14421
١٤٤٢١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حميد بن عبد الرحمن عن حسين بن عِقيل عن الضحاك قال: قف خلف المشعر الحرام، فإن لم تقدر فإذا حاذيت به ذكرت اللَّه ودعوته فإنه قال (١): ﴿فَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ عِنْدَ الْمَشْعَرِ الْحَرَامِ﴾ [البقرة: ١٩٨].
Hazrat Dhahhak says that stand behind Mash'ar al-Haram, and if you are not able to do so, then when you come parallel to it, remember Allah and supplicate to Him. Indeed, Allah the Exalted says: { فَاذْکُرُوا اللّٰہَ عِنْدَ الْمَشْعَرِ الْحَرَامِ }.
Hadith 14422
١٤٤٢٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حميد بن عبد الرحمن (عن) (١) (حسن) (٢) عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: كانوا يستحبون أن يقفوا بالمزدلفة حيال الجبل.
Ibrahim states that the Companions liked that the standing (wuquf) at Muzdalifah be done facing the mountain.
