Those who say there is no harm in staying at ‘Arafah until the crowd disperses after the imam departs
Hadith 13889
١٣٨٨٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن يحيى بن سعيد عن القاسم قال: كانت عائشة (لا تفيض) (١) حتى (يبيض) (٢) ما بينها وبين ⦗٦١⦘ (الناس من) (٣) الأرض (٤).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) would not leave Arafat for Mina until the ground between her and the people became white (empty).
Hadith 13890
١٣٨٩٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن ابن جريج قال: قلت لعطاء يقف الإنسان عشية عرفة بعد ما يدفع الإمام حتى يذهب زحام الناس؟ قال: لا بأس به.
Hazrat Ibn Jurayj says that I asked Hazrat Ata: Can a person stay in Arafah after the Imam has left, until the crowd of people disperses? He replied: Yes, there is no harm in it.
Hadith 13891
١٣٨٩١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو داود الطيالسي عن أبي حرة عن الحسن أنه سئل عن رجل وقف مع الإمام (أيحبس) (١) راحلته وقد نفر الإمام حتى يذهب الزحام؟ قال: لا بأس به.
It was asked from Hasan that after the Imam leaves in Arafah, a person holds back his mount until the crowd disperses? He replied: There is no harm in doing so.
