Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) traveled from the place of Batha in the early part of the night during the departing night.

Hazrat Abu Rafi’ was in charge of the belongings of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He narrates: I came and set up a tent at the place of Abtah, then the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived and stayed there for some time.

It is narrated from Ibrahim that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) rested for a while at the place of Abtah, then began the journey in the early part of the night.

Hazrat Umar said: O people of Khuzaymah! On the departing night, stay at a green place.

Hazrat Amr bin Murrah narrates that Hazrat Aswad stopped to stay at the place of Abtah. He heard the sound of a camel, so he turned to see who it was. Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) was departing to return.

Hazrat Yazid says that I went for Hajj with Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair. When we were about to return, we came to the place of Abtah at the time when we returned from Mina.

Ibrahim says that when you reach the place of Abtah, put down your belongings there, then perform the circumambulation (tawaf) of the House of Allah, rest there for a while, and then set out for the return journey.

It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Tawoos that his respected father used to stay for a while at the place of Sha'b Khawz.

It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Dinar that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and the two Shaykhs, would stay for a while at the place of Abtah.
