Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the Banu Abdul Muttalib while they were drawing water from the well of Zamzam. He said, "Help Banu Abdul Muttalib in drawing water. If I did not fear that people would crowd to draw water upon seeing me, I would have drawn water with you." When the people drew water, When the people drew water, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drank from it.

Hazrat Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khuthaym said that he performed Tawaf with Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair, then he came to a well/pool which had Zamzam water. He scooped up some water from it and drank.

Hazrat Mujahid states that the Companions liked that when they finished the circumambulation of the Ka'bah, they would come to the water of Zamzam and drink from it.

Hazrat Bakr says that I like that a person should drink from the water of Zamzam himself, and if he has the ability, he should also give it to others to drink.

Hazrat Nafi' says that I never saw Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) drink Zamzam after performing Tawaf.

It is narrated from Hazrat Khalid bin Abu Bakr that he did not see Hazrat Salim drinking Zamzam water after performing Tawaf.
