Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) said: O people! Entering the House of Allah (the Ka'bah) is not among the rites of Hajj.

Hazrat Hajjaj says that if you wish, enter the House of Allah, and if you wish, do not enter; and he says that if you enter, it is good, but there is no harm in not entering either, and if you do enter, then perform prayer standing to the right of the middle pillar.

Hazrat Khaythamah was asked about entering the House of Allah (the Ka'bah)? He replied: By Allah, if you do not enter, it will not harm you.

Hazrat Ata says that if you wish, do not enter (there is no harm).

Hazrat Mujahid says that whoever enters the House of Allah enters into goodness and comes out of sins, and when he comes out, his forgiveness has been granted.
