Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was asked whether women should perform ramal during tawaf. She replied, "Is our way not a good example for you? There is no ramal for you while performing tawaf and sa'i between Safa and Marwah."

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that there is no ramal (brisk walking) for women during Tawaf and Sa'i between Safa and Marwah.

Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said that there is no ramal for women.

Hazrat Ata says that there is no ramal for women during tawaf and sa'i between Safa and Marwah.

Hasan and Hazrat Ata say that there is no ramal for women during tawaf and sa’i.

Ibrahim says that for women there is shortening (cutting a small portion of hair), and for women there is no shaving of all the hair and no ramal (trotting).
