Those who permitted a muhrim to look into a mirror
Hadith 13285
١٣٢٨٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن إدريس عن هشام عن عكرمة عن ابن عباس [قال: لا] (١) بأس (بالمرآة) (٢) للمحرم (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) said: There is no harm for a Muhrim to look into a mirror.
Hadith 13286
١٣٢٨٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: ثنا ابن إدريس (عن) (١) ابن جريج عن عطاء قال: لا بأس أن ينظر فيها يميط عنه (الأذى) (٢).
Hazrat Ata says that there is no harm for a Muhrim to look into a mirror; the hardship has been removed from this.
Hadith 13287
١٣٢٨٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: ثنا أبو خالد عن حجاج عن نافع عن ابن عمر أنه لم ير بأسًا أن ينظر المحرم في (المرآة) (١) (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) did not consider there to be any harm in a person in the state of Ihram looking into a mirror.
Hadith 13288
١٣٢٨٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: ثنا حفص عن حجاج عمن حدثه عن ابن عباس (١).
Hazrat Hajjaj and Hazrat Ata say that there is no harm in it.
Hadith 13290
١٣٢٩٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر (قال: ثنا) (١) يحيى بن سعيد عن ابن جريج عن عمر وابن مسلم عن طاوس وعكرمة (قالا) (٢): لا بأس أن ينظر المحرم في (المرآة) (٣).
Hazrat Tawus and Hazrat Ikrimah state that there is no harm in looking into a mirror while in ihram.
Hadith 13291
١٣٢٩١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: ثنا ابن نمير عن عبد الملك عن عطاء قال: لا بأس أن ينظر المحرم في (المرآة) (١).
Hazrat Ata says that a person in Ihram may look into a mirror; there is no harm in it.
