The death of the beloved son of the Prophet (ﷺ), Ibrahim
Hadith 12426
١٢٤٢٦ - حدثنا (وكيع عن) (١) شعبة عن عدي بن ثابت قال: سمعت البراء يقول: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ لما مات إبراهيم قال: "أما أن له مرضعًا في الجنة" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Bara that when the beloved son of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), Ibrahim, passed away, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Surely, a wet nurse has been appointed for him in Paradise.
Hadith 12427
١٢٤٢٧ - حدثنا وكيع عن إسماعيل عن الشعبي قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إن له مرضعًا في الجنة (تتم) (١) بقية رضاعته" (يعني إبراهيم) (٢) (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Sha'bi that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: For them, a wet nurse will be appointed in Paradise who will complete the period of suckling.
Hadith 12428
١٢٤٢٨ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن جابر عن عامر أن (النبي ﷺ صلى عليه) (١) وهو ابن ستة عشر شهرًا: (يعني ابنه إبراهيم) (٢) (٣).
Hazrat Aamir narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer of his beloved child at a time when he was sixteen months old.
