Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Yahya bin Abi Ishaq says that I went out with Hazrat Salim bin Abdullah to a funeral. He changed his route and joined the funeral procession. When we reached the graveyard, he sat down before the bier was placed.

Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that Hazrat Shurayh and Hazrat Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with them) used to join the funeral procession by taking a different route.
