Some scholars dislike greeting the people of the graveyard
Hadith 12150
١٢١٥٠ - حدثنا جرير عن مغيرة عن حماد أنه سئل عن التسليم على القبور فقال: ما كان من صنيعهم.
Hazrat Hammad says that he asked Ibrahim about greeting the graves. He replied: This is not among their (the companions') practices.
Hadith 12151
١٢١٥١ - حدثنا خالد بن الحارث قال: سئل هشام أكان عروة يأتي قبر النبي ﷺ فيسلم عليه؟ قال: لا.
Hazrat Khalid bin Harith narrates that Hazrat Hisham was asked whether Hazrat Urwah used to come to the blessed grave of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and offer salutations? He replied, "No."
