ما قالوا في حل العقد عن الميت
Untying the knots of the deceased
Hadith 12023
١٢٠٢٣ - حدثنا خلف بن خليفة عن أبيه (أنه سمع أن) (١) النبي ﷺ (٢) أدخل نعيم بن مسعود الأشجعي القبر ونزع الأخلة (بفيه) (٣)، يعني العقد (٤).
Hazrat Khallaf bin Khalifah narrates from his father that he heard that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed Hazrat Nu'aim bin Mas'ud Al-Ashja'i in the grave, he untied the knot from his mouth.
Hadith 12024
١٢٠٢٤ - حدثنا حاتم بن وردان عن (الجريري) (١) عن رجل عن أبي هريرة قال: شهدت العلاء بن الحضرمي فدفناه فنسينا أن نحل العقد حتى أدخلناه قبره قال: فرفعنا عنه اللبن فلم نر في القبر شيئًا (٢).
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I was present at the burial of Hazrat Alaa bin Al-Hadrami. We forgot to untie his knot and buried him in the grave. Then we lifted a brick from the grave, but we did not see anything in the grave.
Hadith 12025
١٢٠٢٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر بن عياش عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: إذا أدخل الميت القبر (حل عنه) (١) العقد كلها.
Ibrahim says that when the deceased is placed in the grave, all of his knots will be untied.
Hadith 12026
١٢٠٢٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا شريك عن جابر عن عامر قال: يحل عن الميت العقد.
Hazrat Aamir says that the knots will be untied from the deceased.
Hadith 12027
١٢٠٢٧ - حدثنا هشيم عن جويبر قال: أوصاني الضحاك به (١).
Hazrat Juwaybir states that Hazrat Dahhak had made the same bequest.
Hadith 12028
١٢٠٢٨ - [حدثنا هشيم عن هشام عن الحسن وابن سيرين (قالا) (١): يحل عن الميت العقد.
Hasan and Hazrat Ibn Sirin say that the knot of the deceased will be untied.
Hadith 12029
١٢٠٢٩ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن جويبر عن الضحاك أنه أوصى: أن تحل عنه العقد ويبرز وجهه من الكفن] (١).
Hazrat Juwaybir narrates that Hazrat Dahhak had made a will that his knot be untied and his face be uncovered from the shroud.
