Hadith 11926
١١٩٢٦ - حدثنا ابن علية عن عطاء بن السائب عن ابن (معقل) (١) أنه صلى على الرجال على حدة وعلى المرأة على حدة ثم أقبل على القوم (فقال) (٢): هذا الذي لا شك فيه.
11926 - Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us from ‘Ata’ ibn as-Sa’ib from Ibn (Mu‘qil) (1) that he prayed over the men separately and over the woman separately, then turned to the people (and said) (2): This is that in which there is no doubt.
Hadith 11927
١١٩٢٧ - حدثنا ابن علية عن أيوب عن ابن سيرين أنه قال في جنائز الرجال والنساء قال: نبئت أن أبا الأسود لما اختلفوا عليه صلّى على هؤلاء (ضربة وعلى هؤلاء) (١) ضربة.
Ayyub narrates that when Ibn Sirin was at the funeral of men and women, he said that Abu Aswad informed him that when people differed with him on this issue, he performed separate funeral prayers for men and women.
