Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) states that the missed takbeers of the funeral prayer will not be made up.

Ibrahim says that if one or two takbirs of the funeral prayer are missed, then before getting up, say those takbirs quickly.

Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib says that whoever misses any takbirs of the funeral prayer should make them up (perform qada) afterwards.

Muhammad says that one should say as many takbirs as one catches up with, and make up for those that have been missed. And Hasan says that one should say those that are caught up with, but not make up for those that have been missed.

Hazrat Sha'bi and Hazrat Ata say that the missed Takbeerat are not to be made up (qada).

Hazrat Hammad says: He will make up (the missed act).

Hazrat Qatadah says that one should say as many takbeers as one is able to join, and should not make up for those that have been missed.

Hazrat Humaid bin Abdur Rahman says: Make up for as many takbeers of the funeral prayer as have been missed.
