Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ismail bin Abi Khalid narrates that I offered the funeral prayer behind Hazrat Qais bin Abi Hazim; he would maintain continuous following between the two takbirs.

Hazrat Ubaid bin Sabaaq narrates that I saw Hazrat Sahl bin Hunaif offering the funeral prayer; in the first takbeer he recited Surah Al-Fatiha, then immediately after that the second takbeer in which he supplicated, then the takbeer of Tashahhud remained in which he recited the Tashahhud of prayer, then he said the takbeer again and concluded the prayer with salaam.
