Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Ibn Aun narrates that I saw Hasan and Muhammad at a funeral; both of them did not shoulder the bier and returned.

Hazrat Al-Bara bin Yazid narrates that I saw Hazrat Sha’bi at a funeral. I saw that he was walking behind the funeral and did not shoulder it, nor did he touch its legs until the deceased was placed at the edge of the grave. Then he moved away and sat down, and at that time he was old.
