Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ata says that when a person in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity) or a menstruating woman passes away, they will be treated just like ordinary men.

Hasan says that when a person in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah) dies, the bath of janabah will be given, and then the bath for the deceased will be given. Similarly, if a menstruating woman dies after becoming pure but before performing the ritual bath, the same ruling applies to her.
