Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that when Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) carried out the stoning (rajm) of Shurahah, the people of Hamdan came to Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked: How should she be buried? (What should be done with her?) He replied: Treat her in the same manner as a woman who dies at home is treated.

Hazrat Ibn Buraidah narrates from his father that when Hazrat Ma'iz was stoned, the companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what should we do with him (regarding his burial)?" The Prophet replied: "Do with him what you do with your dead; shroud him, apply fragrance, and offer his funeral prayer."
