Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hasan says that there is no harm if a woman gives (boys) children a bath when they have been weaned or are a little older than that.

11310 - Azhar narrated to us from Ibn Awn: Muhammad was asked about a woman washing a boy. He said: I do not know of any harm in that.

Hazrat Ata says that a child who moved after birth will be shrouded in one cloth, and women will give it the ritual bath.
