If Someone Buys a Slave with Zakah Money, Frees Him, and Then He Dies—Its Ruling
Hadith 11060
١١٠٦٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا معاذ بن معاذ قال: أخبرنا أشعث عن الحسن أنه قال: في رجل اشترى من زكاته نسمة، فأعتقها، فماتت النسمة وتركت ميراثًا قال: يوجهها في مواضع الزكاة.
Hasan was asked that a person bought a slave (bondwoman) from zakat wealth and set her free, then that bondwoman (slave) died and left some inheritance, so what is the ruling regarding that inheritance? He replied: It will be spent on the recipients of zakat.
