If Someone Receives Enough Sadaqat al-Fitr to Become Wealthy, What Should He Do?
Hadith 11036
١١٠٣٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: (ثنا) (١) هشيم عن يونس عن الحسن أنه قال في الرجل إذا أعطى من صدقة الفطر قال: إذا اجتمعت عنده (الآصع) (٢) (٣) أعطى.
Hasan, regarding a person who was given Sadaqat al-Fitr, says that when he comes to possess substantial wealth, he should pay Sadaqat al-Fitr.
Hadith 11037
١١٠٣٧ - حدثنا حفص عن عاصم عن أبي العالية والشعبي وابن سيرين قالوا: صدقة الفطر على الغني والفقير.
Hazrat Abu Alia, Hazrat Shabi, and Hazrat Ibn Sirin state that Sadaqat al-Fitr is obligatory upon both the rich and the poor.
Hadith 11038
١١٠٣٨ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن مثنى عن عطاء قال: يأخذ ويعطي.
Hazrat Ata says that he will take and he will give.
Hadith 11039
١١٠٣٩ - حدثنا مالك بن إسماعيل عن (مندل) (١) عن أشعث عن الحكم عن إبراهيم (قال) (٢): لا (يعطي) (٣) صدقة الفطر من تحل له الصدقة.
Ibrahim says that it is not permissible to give zakat to the person upon whom Sadaqat al-Fitr is obligatory. Hazrat Imam Zuhri says that he will fulfill Allah's right and he will take it.
