Hadith 10870
١٠٨٧٠ - حدثنا محمد بن بكر عن ابن جريج قال: قلت لعطاء متى يخرص النخل قال: حين يطعم.
Hazrat Ibn Jurayj says that I asked Hazrat Ata when should the estimation of dates be made? He replied: When they become fit to eat and begin to be eaten.
Hadith 10871
١٠٨٧١ - حدثنا محمد بن بكر قال: قال ابن جريج: كذلك أخبرنا عبد اللَّه بن فلان أن النبي ﷺ أمر (بخرص) (١) خيبر (حين) (٢) طاب تمرهم (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Fulan that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed the estimator in Khaybar to estimate when their dates become ripe and good. Hazrat Ibn Shihab states that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered that estimation be done for the people of Khaybar when their first dates ripen.
Hadith 10872
١٠٨٧٢ - فقال: وقال ابن شهاب: أمر النبي ﷺ أن يخرص خيبر حين (طاب) (١) (٢) أول التمر (٣).
10872 - He said: Ibn Shihab said: The Prophet ﷺ ordered that Khaybar be estimated when (it ripened) (1) (2) at the beginning of the dates (3).
