Some say there is no zakah on a slave
Hadith 10522
١٠٥٢٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن نمير عن (عبيد اللَّه) (١) بن عمر عن نافع عن ابن عمر قال: ليس في مال العبد زكاة (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Nafi that Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said that there is no zakat on the wealth of a slave.
Hadith 10523
١٠٥٢٣ - [حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن الحكم عن عبد اللَّه بن نافع عن أبيه عن عمر قال: ليس في مال العبد زكاة] (١) (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Nafi that Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: There is no zakat on the wealth of a slave.
Hadith 10524
١٠٥٢٤ - حدثنا وكيع عن (أبي هلال) (١) عن قتادة عن سعيد بن المسيب قال: ليس في مال العبد زكاة.
Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said that there is no Zakat on the wealth of a slave.
Hadith 10525
١٠٥٢٥ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن هشام عن الحسن قال: العبد وماله لسيده؛ الزكاة على المولى وليس على العبد زكاة.
Hasan says that the slave and his wealth belong to the master. Zakat is obligatory on the master; zakat is not obligatory on the slave.
Hadith 10526
١٠٥٢٦ - حدثنا زيد بن (حباب) (١) عن حماد بن سلمة عن (عبد اللَّه) (٢) كثير عن مجاهد قال: ليس في مال العبد زكاة.
Hazrat Mujahid states that Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said that there is no zakat on the wealth of a slave.
Hadith 10527
١٠٥٢٧ - [حدثنا محمد بن (١) بكر عن ابن جريج عن أبي الزبير عن جابر قال: ⦗٢٦٤⦘ ليس في مال العبد زكاة] (٢) (٣).
Hazrat Jabir states that there is no Zakat on the wealth of a slave.
Hadith 10528
١٠٥٢٨ - حدثنا يحيى بن عبد (الملك) (١) بن أبي (غنية) (٢) عن عبد الملك عن عطاء قال: ليس على العبد زكاة.
Hazrat Ata says that there is no Zakat on the wealth of a slave.
