Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Yahya bin Ammarah that Hazrat Abu Saeed reports this saying of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): There is no zakat on less than five wasq. (A wasq is the name of a measure of sixty sa’ and one sa’ is five ratl and one third.)

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: There is no zakat on dates less than five wasq, and there is no zakat on grains of crops less than five wasq.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no zakat on less than five wasq." (A wasq is the name of a measure of sixty sa’ and one sa’ is five and one third ratl.)

Jabir narrates: There is no zakat on less than five wasq.

Hazrat Ja'far narrates from his father that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the quantity of food reaches five wasq, then zakat is due on it.

Imam Sha'bi states: There is no Zakat on less than five wasq.

Yunus and Hasan state that there is no zakat in (food) until it reaches three hundred sa’ (a measure).

Hazrat Amr bin Shu'aib narrates from his father and grandfather that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no zakat on less than five wasq.
