What do jurists say about someone who keeps goats in the city and uses their milk?
Hadith 10248
١٠٢٤٨ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن ابن أبي ليلى عن رجل عن مجاهد في الرجل (تكون) (١) له (أربعون) (٢) شاة في المصر (يحتلبها) (٣) قال: ليس عليه (صدقة) (٤).
Hazrat Mujahid says that if a person keeps forty goats in the city and uses their milk, then zakat is not obligatory on him.
Hadith 10249
١٠٢٤٩ - حدثنا هشيم عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: ليس في غنم (الربائب) (١) صدقة.
Ibrahim says that those goats which stay at home and are not grazing (freely), there is no zakat on such goats.
