Recommended time for the person in i'tikaf to enter the place of i'tikaf
Hadith 9905
٩٩٠٥ - حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن يحيى بن سعيد عن عمرة عن عائشة قالت: كان النبي ﷺ إذا أراد أن يعتكف صلى الصبح ثم دخل المكان الذي يعتكف فيه (١).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to go to the place where he would observe i'tikaf after offering the Fajr prayer.
Hadith 9906
٩٩٠٦ - حدثنا جرير عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: إذا أراد (الرجل) (١) أن يعتكف (فلتغرب) (٢) له الشمس من الليلة التي يريد أن يعتكف فيها وهو في المسجد.
Ibrahim says that when a person intends to perform i'tikaf, he should reach the mosque before sunset.
