(ما ذكر في الصائم إذا أكل عنده)
If someone eats in the presence of a fasting person, what does the fasting person get?
Hadith 9871
٩٨٧١ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن سلمة بن كهيل عن ذر عن يزيد بن (خليل) (١) قال: (الصائم) (٢) إذا أكل عنده الطعام (سبحت) (٣) مفاصله.
Hazrat Yazid bin Haleel says that if someone eats while sitting near a fasting person, his bones recite tasbih.
Hadith 9872
٩٨٧٢ - حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن حبيب بن (زيد) (١) عن امرأة يقال لها ليلى عن (أم) (٢) عمارة قالت: أتانا النبي ﷺ فقرب إليه طعام فكان بعض من عنده ⦗٨٨⦘ صيام فقال النبي ﷺ: "إن الصائم إذا أكل عنده الطعام صلت عليه الملائكة" (٣).
Hazrat Umm Ammarah narrates that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us, and food was presented to him. There was a person present with him who was fasting. The Prophet said that when someone eats in the presence of a fasting person, the angels pray for mercy for him.
Hadith 9873
٩٨٧٣ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن إسماعيل بن سالم عن مجاهد قال: الصائم إذا أكل عنده (سبحت) (١) (مفاصله) (٢).
Hazrat Mujahid says that if someone sits and eats in the presence of a fasting person, his bones recite tasbih.
Hadith 9874
٩٨٧٤ - حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن قتادة عن أبي أيوب عن (عبد اللَّه) (١) عمرو قال: الصائم إذا أكل عنده صلت عليه الملائكة (٢).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when food is eaten in the presence of a fasting person, the angels pray for mercy for him.
