Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Qaqa’ says that I asked Ibrahim about putting medicine in the nose while fasting, so he replied that there is no harm in it.

Ibrahim says that it is permissible to put medicine in the nose while fasting, but it is disliked to put medicine in the ear.

Hasan has considered it disliked to put medicine in the nose while fasting.

Hazrat Sha'bi has declared it undesirable to put medicine in the nose while fasting.
