Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Ibn Aun narrates that once Muhammad ate suhoor after dawn, thinking it was still night, and then said, "My fast is not valid today."

Hazrat Mujahid says that if a person, after dawn has occurred, eats suhoor thinking it is still night, he should complete his fast.

Hazrat Sha’bah says that I asked Hazrat Hakam, “If a person eats sahri after dawn, thinking it is still night, what should he do?” He replied, “He should complete the fast.”

Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair says that if a person eats sahur after the break of dawn, he should complete the fast and make up for it by fasting one day in compensation.

Hasan says that if a person eats sahur after dawn, thinking it is still night, he should complete his fast.

Hazrat Jabir bin Zaid says that if a person, thinking it is still night, eats sahri after dawn has occurred, he should complete the fast.

Hazrat Abdullah says that if someone has eaten in the early part of the day, then he should also eat in the later part of the day.
