Those Who Permitted Fasting in Sha'ban Before Ramadan
Hadith 9283
٩٢٨٣ - حدثنا زيد بن الحباب عن شعبة عن منصور عن سالم عن أبي سلمة عن أم سملمة أن النبي ﷺ كان يصل شعبان برمضان (١).
Hazrat Umm Salamah narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to join Sha'ban with Ramadan.
Hadith 9284
٩٢٨٤ - حدثنا وكيع عن علي بن مبارك عن يحيى بن أبي كثير عن أبي سلمة عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "لا تقدموا رمضان بصوم يوم ولا يومين إلا (رجل) (١) كان يصوم صومًا فليصمه" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Only that person should fast one or two days before Ramadan who is accustomed to fasting regularly.
Hadith 9285
٩٢٨٥ - حدثنا جرير عن ليث عن مجاهد قال: إذا كان رجل يديم الصوم فلا بأس أن يصله.
Hazrat Mujahid says that there is no harm for the person who always fasts to join Sha'ban and Ramadan together.
