Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) says that one should not say, "We have turned away from the prayer," because those who turn away from the prayer, Allah turns their hearts away. You should say, "The prayer has been performed."

Ibrahim did not see any harm in this sentence.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that one should not say, "We have turned away from the prayer," rather one should say, "The prayer has been performed."
