Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Mu’adhah ‘Adawiyyah says that a woman asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), “Does a woman have to make up the prayers missed during menstruation?” She replied, “Are you a Haruriyyah! In the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), we used to experience menstruation, but the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not command us to make up the prayers missed during those days.”

Hazrat Mu’adhah ‘Adawiyyah narrates that she asked Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) whether a woman has to make up the prayers missed during menstruation. She replied that the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to experience menstruation and they did not make up the prayers missed during those days.

Ibrahim narrates that the daughters of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his noble wives used to experience menstruation; he would instruct them to make up the missed fasts but would not instruct them to make up the missed prayers.

Ibrahim and Hazrat Sha'bi state that a menstruating woman will not make up the missed prayers.

Hazrat Mujahid says that a menstruating woman will not make up the missed prayers.

Hazrat Kathir Nawa says that I asked Hazrat Fatimah bint Ali (may Allah be pleased with her), "Do you make up the prayers missed during menstruation?" She replied, "No."

Ibrahim says that if a menstruating woman hears a verse of prostration, then even after becoming pure, prostration is not obligatory upon her because she does not make up missed prayers either.
