Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abu Uthman narrates that Hazrat Umar used to teach us to recite Qunoot after bowing (ruku), and he would raise his hands and elevate his voice so much that even those outside the mosque could hear him.

Hazrat Abu Uthman narrates that Hazrat Umar raised his hands in the Qunoot of Fajr.

Hazrat Khallas bin Amr Hijri narrates that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) recited the Du'a Qunoot in the Fajr prayer for the people in Basra and raised his hands very high.

Hazrat Abu Raja reports that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) raised his hands while reciting the Du'a Qunoot in the Fajr prayer.

Hazrat Abu Farwah narrates that Hazrat Ibn Abi Layla used to gesture with one finger during the Qunoot of Fajr.
