في الذي يشك في وتره
On one who is uncertain about his Witr
Hadith 7110
٧١١٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حفص (بن) (١) غياث عن أشعث عن الحكم وحماد وجهم عن إبراهيم: في الذي (يشك) (٢) في وتره قال: يشفع بركعة ويستقبل الوتر (٣).
Ibrahim, regarding the person who becomes doubtful about the Witr prayer, says that he should add one rak'ah and repeat the Witr.
Hadith 7111
٧١١١ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن منصور عن الحكم قال: سألته عن الرجل يشك في الركعة (من) (١) الوتر أيستقبل أم لا؟ قال: لا، ولكن يقضي الركعة (ويسجد) (٢) سجدتين.
Hazrat Mansur says that I asked Hazrat Hakam about a person who has doubt in one rak'ah of Witr; will he repeat the Witr or not? He replied that he will not repeat it, but he will make up one rak'ah and perform two prostrations.
