If a sailor is a Magian and stands in front of people praying, what should they do?
Hadith 6744
٦٧٤٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن حوشب بن عقيل (العبدي) (١) قال: سئل الحسن عن الملاح المجوسي (يكون بين يدي القوم) (٢) في السفينة وهم ⦗٤٣٩⦘ يصلون وهو (قائم) (٣) قال: يصلي خلفه وإن كان (نائمًا) (٤).
Hazrat Aqeel Abdi says that Hasan was asked: If a boatman is a Magian and stands in front of people while they are praying, what should they do? He replied that they should perform their prayer behind him, even if he is standing.
Hadith 6745
٦٧٤٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا شريك عن مطر عن عطاء (ابن أبي رباح) (١) في الملاحين المجوسيين يكونون بين يدي القوم في السفينة وهم يصلون قال: لا بأس به.
Hazrat Ata was asked: If a boatman is a Magian and stands in front of people while they are praying, what should they do? He replied: There is no harm in it.
