Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Mujahid says that if you miss the congregational prayer in your mosque, do not search for other mosques; rather, perform the prayer in your own mosque.

Ibrahim says that if a man's prayer is missed in his own mosque, he should not seek out other mosques.

Ibrahim narrates that when Alqamah’s group missed their congregation in their own mosque, they would still come to their mosque and perform the prayer there. Even though they could hear the call to prayer from another mosque, they would not go there.

Hasan was asked: If a man is unable to pray in the mosque of his own people, should he go to another mosque? He replied: We did not see the Muhajir Companions doing so.
