Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Muawiyah bin Qurrah narrates that when Hazrat Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) missed the congregation in his own mosque, he would hang his shoes and go around different mosques and offer prayer with the congregation.

Ibrahim states that when Hazrat Aswad missed the congregation in his own mosque, he would go to another mosque.

Hazrat Rabi’ says that we were in the last part of the prayer when Hazrat Sa’id bin Jubair arrived. Meanwhile, he heard the voice of another muezzin, so he went there.
