If someone misses prayer with the imam, is takbir still obligatory for him?
Hadith 6013
٦٠١٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن حسن عن مطرف عمن سمع عطاء ومجاهدا (قالا) (١): يقضى التكبير في العيدين كما تقضى الصلاة.
Hazrat Ata and Hazrat Mujahid state that the missed Takbeerat of the two Eids should be made up in the same manner as missed prayers are made up.
Hadith 6014
٦٠١٤ - حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن ابن جريج عن عطاء قال: يصلي ركعتين ويكبر.
Hazrat Ata says that he will offer two rak‘ahs and say the takbeer.
Hadith 6015
٦٠١٥ - حدثنا هشيم عن مغيرة عن حماد قال: يصلي مثل صلاته ويكبر مثل تكبيره.
Hazrat Hammad says: He will pray in the manner of the Imam’s prayer and say the takbeer as the Imam says the takbeer.
