Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Asma states that whoever recites Surah Al-Ikhlas and Al-Mu'awwidhatayn seven times in one gathering on Friday, he is protected to the extent of their number.

Yunus narrates that Hasan used to sit with the poor during the Friday sermon and would tell them to remain seated. Hazrat Ikrimah did not consider Friday obligatory upon the poor.

Hazrat Sinan bin Habib says that I said to Ibrahim, "I missed the Friday prayer, now what should I do?" He replied, "Prostrate (perform sujood) in abundance."
