Hadith 5632
٥٦٣٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن ابن أبي ذئب عن الزهري عن (الأغر) (١) عن أبي هريرة عن النبي ﷺ قال: "المتعجِّلُ إلى الجُمعَةِ كالذي يُهْدِي بَدَنَةً ثمَّ كالمُهْدِي بقَرَةً ثم كالمُهْدِي شَاةً ثم كالمُهْدِي طَائِرًا" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one who comes first for Friday (prayer) is like one who offers a camel in the way of Allah; the one who comes after him is like one who offers a cow; then the one who comes after is like one who offers a goat; and then like one who offers a bird in the way of Allah.
Hadith 5633
٥٦٣٣ - حدثنا شبابة قال حدثنا ابن أبي ذئب عن المقبري عن أبيه عن عبد اللَّه ابن (١) وديعة عن سلمان الخير (٢) أن النبي ﷺ قال: "لا يغتسلُ (رجلُ) (٣) يومَ الجمعةِ (ويتطهَّرُ) (٤) بما استطاعَ مِنْ طُهُورِهِ وادَّهَنَ من دهنهِ أَوْ مَسَّ طيِبًا مِنْ بَيْتِهِ ثمَّ رَاحَ فلَمْ يفرِّقْ بين اثْنَيْنِ ثُمَّ صلى مَا كَتَبَ (اللَّهُ) (٥) لَهُ ثمَّ أنصَتَ إذا تكلَّمَ الإمامُ إلَّا غَفَرَ لهُ ما بينَهُ وبين الجُمُعَةِ الأُخْرَى" (٦).
It is narrated from Hazrat Salman that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever performs a thorough bath on Friday and strives to cleanse himself well during the bath, then applies oil, then applies perfume from his house, then goes for Friday prayer in such a way that he does not separate two people to sit between them, then performs the obligatory prayer, and then remains silent during the Imam’s sermon, all his sins committed between that Friday and the previous Friday are forgiven.
Hadith 5634
٥٦٣٤ - حدثنا عفان قال حدثنا حماد بن سلمة قال أخبرنا علي بن زيد عن أوس بن خالد عن أبي هريرة أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال: "إنَّ على (أبواب المسجد (ملائكةٌ)) (١) (٢) يكتبونَ (الناسَ) (٣) على منازلهم جاء فلانٌ من ساعةِ كذا وكذا ⦗١٨٣⦘ جاء فلانٌ منْ ساعةِ كَذَا، جاء فلانٌ والإمامُ يخطُبُ، جاء فلانٌ فأدرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ ولم يدركْ الخطبةَ" (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The angels stand at the doors of the mosque and keep writing the people according to their ranks, that so-and-so came at such-and-such time and so-and-so came at such-and-such time. So-and-so came when the Imam was delivering the sermon, and so-and-so only performed the prayer and did not participate in the sermon.
