Those who recommend reciting a surah with a prostration in Fajr prayer on Friday
Hadith 5553
٥٥٥٣ - حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن حجاج عن أبي فروة عن أبي الأحوص قال: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقرأ في صلاة الغداة يوم الجمعة ﴿(الم) (١) (١) ⦗١٦٠⦘ تَنْزِيلُ﴾ [السجدة: ١ - ٢] (السجدة) (٢) وسورة من المفصل (٣).
Hazrat Abu Al-Ahwas narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite "Alif Lam Meem Tanzil As-Sajdah" and a surah from the Mufassal during the Fajr prayer on Friday.
Hadith 5554
٥٥٥٤ - حدثنا جرير عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: كان يستحب أن يقرأ يوم الجمعة بسورة فيها سجدة.
Ibrahim states that it was considered preferable that, on the day of Jumu'ah, a surah containing a sajdah be recited in the Fajr prayer.
Hadith 5555
٥٥٥٥ - حدثنا ابن نمير عن سفيان عن جابر عن الشعبي قال: ما شهدت ابن عباس قرأ يوم الجمعة إلا بـ ﴿تَنزِبلُ﴾ و ﴿هَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ﴾ (١) (٢).
Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that whenever I performed the Fajr prayer with Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them), he recited Surah Alif Lam Meem Tanzil As-Sajdah and Surah Ad-Dahr in it.
Hadith 5556
٥٥٥٦ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن شريك عن أبي إسحاق عن سعيد بن جبير قال: ما صليت خلف ابن عباس يوم الجمعة الغداة إلا قرأ بسورة فيها سجدة (١).
Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair narrates that whenever I performed the Fajr prayer with Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them), he recited in it a Surah in which there was a verse of prostration.
Hadith 5557
٥٥٥٧ - حدثنا وكيع عن حسن بن صالح عن أبيه عن عثمان بن أبي صفية عن علي أنه قرأ في الفجر يوم الجمعة بسورة الحشر وسورة الجمعة (١).
Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) recited Surah Al-Hashr and Surah Al-Jumu'ah in the Fajr prayer on Friday.
Hadith 5558
٥٥٥٨ - حدثنا محمد بن أبي (عدي) (١) عن ابن عون قال: كانوا يقرؤون يوم الجمعة (بسورة) (٢) فيها سجدة فسألت محمدا فقال: لا أعلم به بأسا.
Ibn Aun says that people used to recite such a Surah in the Fajr prayer on Friday in which there is a prostration. I asked Muhammad about this, and he said that there is no harm in it.
Hadith 5559
٥٥٥٩ - حدثنا عبدة عن سفيان عن مخول (١) عن مسلم البطين عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عباس أن النبي ﷺ يقرأ في صلاة الفجر يوم الجمعة بـ ﴿الم (١) ⦗١٦١⦘ تَنْزِيلُ﴾، ﴿هَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ حِينٌ مِنَ الدَّهْرِ﴾ [الإنسان: ١] (٢) (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited Surah Alif Lam Meem Tanzil and Surah Ad-Dahr in the Fajr prayer on Friday.
Hadith 5560
٥٥٦٠ - حدثنا الفضل بن دكين قال حدثنا زهير عن أبي إسحاق قال: أمنا (١) إبراهيم بن عبد الرحمن بن عوف ونحن بالمدينة فصليت وراءه يوم الجمعة صلاة الغداة فقرأ: ﴿آلمَ (١) تَنزِيل﴾ و ﴿هَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ﴾.
Hazrat Abu Ishaq says that Hazrat Ibrahim bin Abdur Rahman bin Auf led us in prayer in Madinah. On Friday, during the Fajr prayer, he recited Surah Alif Lam Meem Tanzeel and Surah Dahr.
Hadith 5561
٥٥٦١ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن (سعد) (١) (بن) (٢) إبراهيم عن عبد الرحمن بن هرمز عن أبي هريرة أن النبي ﷺ كان يقرأ في الفجر يوم الجمعة بـ ﴿المَ (١) تَنزيلُ﴾ و ﴿هَلْ أَتَى عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ﴾ (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surah Alif Lam Meem Tanzil and Surah Ad-Dahr in the Fajr prayer on Friday.
Hadith 5562
٥٥٦٢ - حدثنا ابن ففميل عن مغيرة عن أبي حمزة الأعور عن إبراهيم أنه صلى ⦗١٦٢⦘ بهم يوم الجمعة (ق) (١) الفجو فقرأ بهم: ﴿كهيعص﴾.
Abu Hamza reports that Ibrahim led us in the Fajr prayer and recited Surah Kaf Ha Ya 'Ain Sad in it.
