Those who say that if someone finds the congregation in the final sitting of Jumu'ah, he should pray two rak'ahs
Hadith 5466
٥٤٦٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة قال: سألت الحكم وحمادا عن الرجل يجيء يوم الجمعة قبل أن يسلّم الإمام قال: يصلي ركعتين.
Hazrat Shu’bah says that I asked Hazrat Hakam and Hazrat Hammad about a person who joins the prayer on Friday just before the Imam finishes with salam; what should he do? They replied that he should perform two rak’ahs of prayer.
Hadith 5467
٥٤٦٧ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال أخبرنا جويبر عن الضحاك قال: إذا أدرك الناس يوم الجمعة (جلوسا) (١) صلى ركعتين.
Hazrat Dhahhak says that if someone finds people sitting in the final sitting (Qa'dah Akheerah) of the Friday prayer, he should perform two rak'ahs.
Hadith 5468
٥٤٦٨ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن أبي حنيفة (عن حماد) (١) عن إبراهيم قال: يصلي ركعتين.
Ibrahim says that if a person finds the people sitting in the final sitting (Qa'dah Akheerah) of the Friday prayer, he should perform two rak'ahs.
Hadith 5469
٥٤٦٩ - حدثنا شريك عن عامر بن شقيق عن أبي وائل قال: قال عبد اللَّه: من أدرك التشهد فقد أدرك الصلاة (١).
Hazrat Abdullah says that whoever catches the Tashahhud has caught the prayer.
