Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that when the time for Friday prayer arrives, do not set out on any journey without offering the prayer.

Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Qasim narrates that my father used to travel on the night of Friday, but when dawn broke, he would not travel.

Hazrat Khaythamah says that the predecessors used to prefer that when the time for Friday prayer arrived, one should not set out on a journey until the Friday prayer had been performed.
