Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) says that there is one prostration (sajdah) in Surah Al-Hajj.

Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair used to say that there is one prostration (sajdah) in Surah Al-Hajj.

Ibrahim says that there is one prostration in Surah Al-Hajj.

Hasan used to say that the first prostration (sajdah) of Surah Al-Hajj is obligatory.

Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib and Hasan say that there is one prostration (sajdah) in Surah Al-Hajj, the first one. (4332) Ibrahim used to say that there is only one prostration in Surah Al-Hajj and it is the first one.

Hazrat Abu Ma'n says that I asked Hazrat Jabir bin Zaid whether a person should perform two prostrations (sajdahs) in Surah Al-Hajj. He replied, "No, rather he should perform only one prostration."
