Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Abu Alia states that the predecessors considered it undesirable to omit the verse of prostration in order to avoid performing the prostration.

Hazrat Shahr bin Hawshab says that omitting the verse of prostration to avoid performing sajdah is a practice invented by the people.
