If Someone Recites the Same Ayah of Prostration Twice, What Should He Do?
Hadith 4246
٤٢٤٦ - حدثنا هشيم قال أخبرنا يونس عن الحسن.
Hasan and Ibrahim say that if a person recites the verse of prostration once and then recites it again, one prostration is sufficient for him.
Hadith 4248
٤٢٤٨ - حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن مجاهد قال: إذا قرأت السجدة أجزأك (أن) (١) تسجد بها مرة.
Hazrat Mujahid says that when you recite the verse of prostration multiple times, then one prostration is sufficient for you.
Hadith 4249
٤٢٤٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا (١) ابن فضيل عن عطاء بن السائب عن أبي عبد الرحمن أنه كان يقرأ السجدة فيسجد ثم يعيدها في مجلسه ذلك مرارا لا يسجد.
Hazrat Ata bin Saib narrates that Hazrat Abu Abdur Rahman, when he would recite a verse of prostration, he would perform prostration, and if in one gathering he recited the same verse more than once, he would perform prostration only once.
