Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Ibrahim narrates that when Ibn Mas'ud would stand up after the first and third rak'ah, he would not sit in between.

Hazrat Zuhri says that our elders, when they would raise their heads from the second prostration in the first and third rak‘ah, would stand up straight and would not sit in between.

Hazrat Zubair bin Adi says that Ibrahim, after rising from the second prostration of the first rak'ah, would stand up immediately.

Hazrat Nu’man bin Abi ‘Ayyash says that I have met many companions of the Prophet. When they would raise their heads from the prostration of the first and third rak’ah, they would stand up straight and would not sit in between.
