Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Perform the Zuhr prayer after letting it cool down, for the severity of heat is from the blowing of Hell."

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Perform the Zuhr prayer after letting it cool down, for the midday heat is the breath of Hell.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Dharr Ghifari that we were on a journey with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. When Hazrat Bilal intended to give the call to prayer (adhan), the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him, "Wait." After a while, when he again intended to give the adhan, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, again said, "Wait." This continued until we began to see the shade of the mounds. Then he gave the adhan and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, led the Zuhr prayer. Then he said, "The intensity of the heat is a blast from Hell. When the heat is severe, perform the prayer after it has cooled down."

Hazrat Abu Musa used to say that perform the Zuhr prayer after letting it cool down.

Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Sabit narrates that Hazrat Abu Mahzoorah gave the adhan for Zuhr in Makkah, so Hazrat Umar said to him, "O Abu Mahzoorah! Did I just hear your voice?" He replied, "Yes, O Commander of the Faithful! I raised my voice so that you could hear it." Hazrat Umar said, "O Abu Mahzoorah! You are in a land where there is intense heat, so perform the Zuhr prayer when it is cooler." After that, Hazrat Abu Mahzoorah used to perform Zuhr when it was cooler.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah says that the intensity of heat is due to the breath of Hell; perform the Zuhr prayer after letting it cool down.

It is narrated from Hazrat Safwan that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Perform the Zuhr prayer after letting it cool down, for the intensity of heat is from the breath of Hell.

Hazrat Qais says that offer Zuhr prayer after it cools down, because at that time the gates of Hell are opened.

Hazrat Umar says: Perform the Zuhr prayer after letting it cool down, because the intensity of heat is due to the breath of Hell.
