Hadith 2327
Hasan narrates that Hazrat Bilal once gave the call to prayer (adhan) at night. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed him to go and announce that the servant has fallen asleep! He went back and made this announcement that the servant has fallen asleep. Along with this, he was reciting this verse: "If only Bilal’s mother had never given birth to him, and if only his forehead had been soaked with blood." The narrator says that we have also learned that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed him to repeat the adhan.
Hadith 2328
Hazrat Nafi' narrates that Hazrat Umar had a muezzin whose name was Masrooh. He gave the adhan before Fajr, so Hazrat Umar ordered him to give the adhan again.
Hadith 2329
Hazrat Abu Musa says that in the presence of Hasan, mention was made of those people who give the call to Fajr prayer during the night. So he said that they are non-Arab disbelievers and idle people; they only pray with the Iqamah. If Hazrat Umar had known about them, he would have beaten them or struck them on their heads.
